About Herman
Herman “Deco” Mutebi is one of Uganda’s most talented and respected professional golfers. Raised in Entebbe, he started his golf journey as a caddie in 2009 before steadily rising through the amateur ranks to become a national team player and later a professional golfer.
Nicknamed “Deco” after the famous Portuguese footballer, Mutebi was also a football player before fully committing to golf. His calm personality, strong work ethic, and aggressive playing style have made him one of the standout golfers in Uganda.
